It all started when Ron and Antony met back in high school. They were in rival bands, from rival schools. Ron was in a death metal band, and Antony in a funk band. Both bands had moderate success in the college and club scene. As time went on, band members lost interest, or started getting real jobs and so it goes.

It appears that the most talented and determined to succeed keep moving forward.  When Ron and Antony joined together to start JUICe, Antony had already won two Q107 homegrown music contests, been awarded government funds to record three times, and was first runner up for the Scott Liddle music award.

So born is the band JUICe. The best musicians were pooled together and in no time FACTOR (Foundation to Assist Canadian Talent on Records) had awarded the band enough money to record an entire record.   Upon completion of the record, it was submitted to another contest, "Kick Start Your Career".  JUICe claimed victory and had the honor of opening for Motley Crue to a sold out crowd at Massey Hall!!!

These victories lead to another contest, the Musicians Choice Award. Beyond Records and Motley Crue held this contest and JUICe was the overall winner for Canada, which lead to a single being released on a Motley Crue compilation.

This is when BMG Music Publishing took serious notice of the band and signed them to a world wide publishing deal.   JUICe was chosen as one of Canada's most promising new acts.  The band was flown to New Music West in Vancouver to play in Canada's Music Week.  They rated the band a 100% in Performance, a rating never given out before and never given out since.

JUICe was then submitted to the 97.7 HTZ FM New Rock Search contest where they were among the top 3 winners.

JUICe has written and recorded songs in memory of the late Greg Moore, Canadas finest racecar driver.  The songs from that recording are now in a TSN video that represents all of Greg Moore's victories.

With FACTOR behind them, BMG Music Publishing, and the hit machine The Metal Works the band seems destined to write a smash album.  With the new retrospective CD released, let's see what 2006 has in store for this hot Canadian band!!!!
